Events

The main AJS Car Club event each year is it's annual rally. Club members meet for a weekend usually in June, an event organised by a different club member in a different location each year. These weekends provide an opportunity for club members to get together, and also to give the cars a "good airing". Taking place over two days, they generally involving a run of between 50 - 60 miles per day visiting local points of interest. Always enjoyable, these trips often require members to show the skills and initiative to overcome breakdowns and get all the cars back to their home base.

Over the years, the club has attended include the 80th Anniversary of the VSCC at Peterborough showground, the Restoration Show at Birmingham NEC and we regularly attended the Piston & Props event at Sywell Aerodrome.

In addition to events organised as "club events" club members have met informally at various events, shows and autojumbles over the years.

At least three of our members regularly compete in VSCC trials and we have another member who acts as a Marshall for their events.

Details of our upcoming events are below.
